The more I say I am going to graduate this May, the more I am starting to believe it.
I have completed chapter 3, 4 and 5 at this point, though in opposite order (I am writing backwards to the beginning, which oddly seems to be working).
Moreover, last Friday I received a call for an interview with at an excellent institution for a tenure track position in my field. I am optimistic this means there are many more of those types of calls to come.
This week I am still trying to complete some diss writing but am also swamped with my presentations for the Words Beats & Life Teach In and finishing their special issue on Brazil (I am currently guest editor). So it is really next week that I will whole hardly turn my attention to the last two chapters and of course, the lastly the introduction. All in all I have about two months to complete this work which is a big push considering unlike the other chapters, his material is much newer to me. However, I hope the discipline and skills I have been honing the last few weeks will push me threw. Mainly to just sit down and write, even if it's just a few sentences, because that is still progress!
The more I say I am going to graduate this May, the more I want to write a kickass dissertation!
Let's do this! #PhDorBust
